The University of Florida, with input from the Gainesville community, has launched a project that will affect it and its stakeholders for many decades.
This project, called the UF Strategic Development Plan, will identify ways to create a physical environment conducive to preeminence by determining what makes a great university town, including housing, transportation and overall infrastructure.
UF is looking to its stakeholders a UF students, faculty, staff and the greater Gainesville community a for assistance with this important project.
To take an interactive CoMap survey, go to ufmapgainesville.com, which will ask you to place icons where you live, work and socialize. Youall also be able to indicate your typical transportation routes and leave comments.
This mapping exercise will help UF create a rich picture that will enable it to see how the university functions today and what its strategic development plan should include for the future.
The survey, which will be open through Thursday, April 21, should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is designed to work on most mobile devices.
